Abstracts and Clinical Cases

Abstract submissions for Obesity Update 2021 are now open

Sharing your work at Obesity Update Online is a fantastic opportunity to get useful feedback and ideas to progress your research as well as boosting your presentation and networking skills. Accepted abstracts are presented at the event either as an oral presentation or an e-poster presentation. They will also be published online in Endocrine Abstracts. Abstracts are accepted on the understanding that the work has not been published or presented elsewhere.

Prizes:

1st oral presentation: £100
2nd oral presentation: £100
Poster prize: £100

The winner of 1st prize will also win the opportunity to publish their winning work as a case report in the peer-reviewed and open-access journal, Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism Case Reports. This journal is endorsed by the Society for Endocrinology and publishes challenging and complex case reports from clinicians from around the world.

By publishing in the journal you will be supporting clinicians globally, who look to learn from your findings, whilst also raising your profile in the international endocrine community.

Publication in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism Case Reports cannot be guaranteed and will be at the discrepancy of the Editors-in-Chief. Winners will be introduced to the publishing team and have their work preliminarily reviewed by the Editors-in-Chief for relevance to the journal, with all work undergoing stringent peer-review before publication.
